Really I thought it was love. The out of body experience kind. I had it looking across the half dead man at her. Maybe it was just his spirit getting away from her and running into me.
Either way I was tricked that night. Two souls full of hurt and anger over relationships gone wrong and time wasted. We tuned to the same frequency. She followed me to the next room and gave me a hug under my isolation gown.
If only I had know I was to be her cathartic lover. Her chance to get even with the husband who cheated on her, gave her no babies, and wasted her time.
Great(angry?)sex and trips to some cool places. That is how I will remember her.
