Close-in support

When you are in a fight and your main weapon goes down or is ineffective , you call for support.  It could be the nerd in the basement, but it has to be someone with a bigger gun that can rain hate and death on your enemy.

If only life were that simple.

How do you deal with supporting a girl friend, who is stubborn to a fault, dealing with people you have never met, and trying to keep her child out of harms way?  "No quarter asked, none given", is not going to work here.

Jealousy, fear, attachment.  Those are the things that make lawyers rich.  We fear lose or change, so much that instead of remembering the end goal of happiness.  We focus on winning, having our way at all cost.

There are no winners in a gunfight, only survivors. Sometimes the best support is to step back and just breath.
